What I really like about this list of active verbs is it actually categorizes the verbs based on what the writer would like to showcase in his or her resume. I don’t think it’s always obvious to our students how many options there are. I feel like continually revisiting sites for updated information is helpful. For example, many sites talk about the professional summary or objective, but more recent articles say not to write one. Given that the resume should only be about a page, this takes up valuable real estate for something that will most likely be covered in the cover letter.
