Barbara has been a life-long Snoopy fan, once ate her weight in strawberries (she was three at the time), and likes the color blue. She grew up in the wild — aka “outside of New England” — including Alabama, Mississippi, and Kentucky. She once travelled around the entire globe, completing a circumnavigation (unlike Magellan), and has lived in or visited: Australia, Dubai, and Jordan, in addition to various places in the US. She took an nontraditional path before turning up at the doorstep of UMassD’s MPWC program,
with an associate’s degree in elementary education and a bachelor’s degree in English Lit. She is married and has three kids.
